Synopsis
This sports documentary/true crime hybrid looks at the investigation of different criminal cases involving renowned Mexican sports figures, either as the victim or the perpetrator. Each episode focuses on the story of an athlete. From Salvador Cabañas to Julio Cesar Chávez, this documentary explores the relationship between sports and crime, with the triumphs and the downfalls of six athletes that offer a glimpse at contemporary Mexico and illustrate the fact that there’s no game more intense than life itself.
