CIMARR\u00d3N will coordinate all offices and production teams across the continent to drive growth and strengthen the operational structure in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement coincides with the start of operations of CIMARR\u00d3N (THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO) in Brazil, where the company will soon have its own office and team. The addition of this market, given the quality and scale of its audiovisual industry, reinforces the company\u2019s presence throughout the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marta Ezpeleta, CEO of THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO<\/strong>, said: \u201cCIMARR\u00d3N is one of our most strategic assets in Latin America. These are concrete moves that reflect where CIMARR\u00d3N stands today and where we are headed,\u201d said <strong>Santiago L\u00f3pez, CEO of CIMARR\u00d3N (THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An Argentine producer, creator, screenwriter, and author, <strong>Andr\u00e9s Gel\u00f3s<\/strong> had already collaborated with CIMARR\u00d3N and THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO as a writer on series created by Daniel Burman: Yosi<em>, The Regretful Spy <\/em>(Prime Video), <em>Maledictions<\/em> (Netflix), and <em>So Far, So Good<\/em>, soon to premiere on Flow. He is also the creator of titles such as <em>Payback: una somos dos<\/em> (Disney+ Latin America), <em>Cumbia Ninja<\/em>, and <em>Kdabra<\/em> (Fox).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this new phase, <strong>Catalina Porto<\/strong>, director of THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO in Mexico and Colombia, will continue leading both markets as creative producer within CIMARR\u00d3N\u2019s structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company will also boost the creation of non-fiction formats and content in Latin America, under the leadership of <strong>Amparo Castellano<\/strong>, global director of non-fiction at THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO. As part of this framework, Castellano will take on the supervision of this area within CIMARR\u00d3N as part of her international responsibilities. One of the most recent projects in this field was the production of the TelevisaUnivisi\u00f3n adaptation of the survival reality show <em>El Conquistador<\/em>, a project that showcases the company\u2019s ability to adapt successful international formats for Latin American audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CIMARR\u00d3N was founded in 2018 by producers <strong>Santiago L\u00f3pez, Diego Robino, <\/strong>and<strong> Hern\u00e1n Musaluppi<\/strong>, and quickly established itself as one of the most relevant production companies in Latin America, with internationally distributed films and series for platforms such as Prime Video, HBO Max, and Netflix. Since 2023, it has been part of THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO, a stage in which it has accelerated its growth and expanded its presence, adding a Colombia office to those in Argentina, Uruguay, and Mexico, and participating in numerous original and service productions for major studios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among its upcoming releases, highlights include the world premiere at the Directors\u2019 Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival of the co\u2011production <em>Double Freedom<\/em>, by Lisandro Alonso; <em>So Far, So Good<\/em>, a series created by Daniel Burman that will arrive very soon on Flow following its presentation at Berlinale Series Market, and <em>Nothing Between Us<\/em>, the new film by Juan Taratuto starring Gael Garc\u00eda Bernal and Natalia Oreiro, which will premiere on May 21 in theaters in Argentina, Mexico, and Uruguay before its release on HBO Max Latin America. The company is also a co-producer of the Spanish film <em>Altas capacidades<\/em>, directed by V\u00edctor Garc\u00eda Le\u00f3n and recently released in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CIMARR\u00d3N (THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO) is also responsible for <em>Perros<\/em>, directed by Gerardo Minutti, presented at the 2025 M\u00e1laga Film Festival, winner of Best Supporting Actress (Mar\u00eda Elena P\u00e9rez), and selected by Uruguay for the Goya Awards; as well as production services for the films <em>The Kiss of the Spider Woman<\/em>, by Bill Condon (starring Jennifer Lopez and Diego Luna and produced by Artist Equity), and <em>The Disappearance of Josef Mengele<\/em> by Kirill Serebrennikov (Official Selection, Cannes 2025), in addition to the series <em>Croma\u00f1\u00f3n<\/em> (Prime Video) and both seasons of <em>Yosi, the Regretful Spy,<\/em> winner of the Rose d\u2019Or Latino for Best Series, three Mart\u00edn Fierro Awards, and twice nominated for the International Emmy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recent original productions by CIMARR\u00d3N (THE MEDIAPRO STUDIO) also include <em>El viento que arrasa<\/em> by Paula Hern\u00e1ndez (Toronto and San Sebasti\u00e1n 2023), and the co-productions <em>Levante<\/em> by Lillah Halla (Semaine de la Critique, Cannes 2023) and <em>La estrella azul<\/em> by Javier Macipe (Goya for Best New Director and Best New Actor), as well as the series <em>Barrabrava<\/em> (Prime Video \u2013 Platino Award for Best Ibero-American Series), <em>Amsterdam<\/em> (HBO Max), and <em>Senten\u00e7a<\/em> (Prime Video), along with its participation in the film <em>Society of the Snow<\/em>, directed by J.A.
