Synopsis
Lenny Belardo is Pius XIII, the first Pope from the United States in history. Young and charming, his election appears to be the fruit of the straightforward, effective media strategy employed by the College of Cardinals. However, appearances can be deceptive. Especially in a place with people who have chosen the great mystery of God as the compass to steer their lives. This place is the Vatican, and these people are the ecclesiastical hierarchy. The most mysterious and contradictory figure proves to be Pius XIII himself.
